Regular price $388.00Nangodi Wave Pot
Sculptural, joyful and impossible to ignore, Nangodi is a true marvel of handwoven artistry.
Each Wave Pot is woven entirely by hand in Ghana, with its dramatic curves shaped slowly and deliberately by the weaver as the basket grows. Bands of brilliant colour, intricate pattern and natural elephant grass sweep around the form, while the exaggerated waves give the basket an almost architectural presence.
At an extraordinary 24" tall and 28" in diameter, Nangodi is more than a basket. It is a statement piece — beautiful standing alone, or as a vase, it will undeniably be admired for the remarkable skill that went into making it.
No two Wave Pots will ever be exactly alike. The variations in colour, pattern, shape and weave are part of what makes each one an individual work of art.
Dimensions: approximately 24" H × 28" diameter
Material: Elephant grass
Handwoven in Ghana
