At Big Blue Moma, every piece we carry is made by hand. No two items are exactly alike—and that’s the beauty of it.

Small variations in colour, shape, and weave are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects. These details reflect the human hands and traditional techniques behind each piece.

Our Standard

We take great care in selecting and inspecting every item before it leaves our studio. That said, we understand that occasionally something may be missed.

If you receive an item that is faulty or not up to standard, we will make it right.

Faulty Items

We offer refunds or replacements on items that are genuinely defective.

This may include:

  • Structural damage that affects the function of the item
  • Significant flaws that go beyond normal handmade variation
  • Items that arrive damaged in transit

What is Not Considered a Fault

Because our products are handmade, the following are considered normal and are not eligible for refund:

  • Slight variations in size, shape, or colour
  • Natural inconsistencies in weave or pattern
  • Minor irregularities that do not affect the use of the product

How to Request a Refund

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A brief description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item

Resolution

Once reviewed, we will offer one of the following:

  • A replacement (if available)
  • A refund to your original method of payment

We stand behind the products we offer and the artisans who make them. If something isn’t right, we will work with you to resolve it fairly.
