    Wholesale Terms & Conditions 

    Access to Wholesale Pricing 

    To access wholesale pricing and products, you must first be an approved vendor with a Big Blue Moma wholesale account and also be logged in to your account. Product selection and pricing will automatically update only when logged in to reflect your approved vendor status.

    We reserve the right to disqualify retailers based on compatibility, location, violation of agreements or for any other reason. If approved, you will be issued a wholesale account giving you access to our wholesale product selection and pricing.


    Canada and U.S.A. are F.O.B. our warehouse in Sainte-Julienne, Quebec. We generally ship with Purolator, Canada Post or U.P.S. unless a special request in made by the customer.  Shipping is automatically charged at 18% of your total order when ordering through our wholesale site.  All Overages will be refunded.  

    If you prefer to have a more accurate calculation of shipping costs please contact us directly and we can quote your shipping based on your location and the estimated weight of your order.  

    Please note-these baskets are light, but they are large, so shipping costs are higher because “cubing” is required by most shipping companies.  Big Blue Moma makes every effort to keep your shipping costs as low as possible.  

    No order will be shipped out without receiving payment in full.


    International Orders are F.O.B. Bolgatanga, Ghana and shipped out with Ghana Post. Carrier charges are determined once the order is picked and weighed, at which time you will receive an invoice.

    We offer appointment shopping at retail shows whenever possible with no shipping fees for all order picked up at the show.. Please feel free to email us in advance if you plan to order this way so we can stock up. 

    If you want to order at a show and didn't make an appointment, eyelash fluttering can work on the last day of the show-but all minimums and payment terms still apply and orders are based on stock availability.


    We make every effort to accommodate special requests however, given the volume of inventory and the fact that each piece is one of a kind, it is almost impossible to guarantee specific baskets. This being said, we also have been known to load up Arty the Airstream for cross country trips, allowing our customers to hand pick from our large selection.  We do our best to let you know when we are in your area, but if you really want us to visit, send us a note and we will see what we can do. 

    Our online wholesale selection is divided by Style and in the case of our more popular shapes, further divided into “Natural” and “Traditional” palettes.  The “Natural” palette is navy, black, soft earth tones and natural grass colours, while the “Traditional” is a more typical brightly coloured selection.  



    We price our products and receive payment in Canadian dollars. There is a currency converter on the site so that you can view prices in your preferred currency. Note that currency fluctuations may affect these calculations.

    You will notice our retail prices are higher than a straight keystone (100%) markup and we encourage our retail partners to do the same. When we determine our wholesale price structure, we factor in our higher than average shipping costs, due to the size of the products. 

    We view our relationships with our wholesale customers as a partnership. We are committed to maintaining stable retail prices and, except in rare cases, avoid discounting so as not to undercut our valued partners. 


    We do not specify a dollar amount for opening order however we there is a minimum order of 20 individual baskets in any combination of shape or size for both new and repeat orders. If you are unsure of what to order, our customer service team (Usually Moma herself) can help you put together an opening order to support your success with our products. In our experience, the more product you have, the more you will sell and larger orders save you shipping costs over the long run.


    Big Blue Moma will automatically substitute baskets of equal value if any are missing from your order unless otherwise requested.  We will substitute one of similar palette whenever possible.


    Visa, MC, Amex, Debit, Cash or E transfer. We do not accept checks. 


    We make every effort to ship within three days of ordering unless we are on the road, in which case we will let you know. It is rare we ship out over one week but please allow for plenty of time for your order to arrive-we can not control shipping and transport times. Shipping/handling charges will be calculated and added to your order total when it ready to ship. We reserve the right to use our discretion as to the carrier to be used on any shipment. Your preferred carrier may be used if the you agree to assume any additional transportation charges.


    All of our products are handmade. Due to this production method, each product will vary slightly.


    Minor defects do get missed by us on occasion. Please let us know of any damages within two weeks of receiving your order by sending an email to karie@bigbluemoma.com so we can issue a credit on your account. If you decide not to order from us again, we will issue a refund for any damaged baskets once those baskets have been determined as not saleable by us.


    Wholesale merchandise may not be returned or exchanged. We only accept returns in the case of defective merchandise as noted above.


    We do not offer consignment.


    As our items are hand made, we are not able to offer volume discounts below wholesale offering price.
