The Large Round Bolga Basket is one of the most versatile handwoven baskets from Northern Ghana. Made from durable elephant grass, this generously sized basket is perfect for blanket storage, toys, knitting projects, market shopping, or everyday home organization.

The round shape creates a sturdy basket with a wide opening and strong base, allowing it to hold a surprising amount while remaining lightweight and flexible.

Each basket is woven by skilled artisans using traditional Bolga weaving techniques passed down through generations. The elephant grass is dyed in rustic pots over wood fires, producing rich natural colour variations that make every basket unique.

Reshaping Your Basket

Your basket ships folded flat for efficient transport. If it arrives slightly misshapen:

1. Dip the basket briefly in water

2. Shape it gently with your hands

3. Allow it to air dry
